Yu Yi, Principal
MPlanPrac.(Hons), M.Arch., B. Arch, MNZPI
Yu Yi has 25 years of professional experience at different levels of urban planning and land development projects. She has:
- Full membership accreditation from the New Zealand Planning Institute (MNZPI).
- A Master’s degree in Planning (MPlanPrac.) with honour from the University of Auckland and Master’s degree in Architecture from the Southeast University (SEU) of China.
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand local governments and the Urban Planning system through over 14 years of experience in some major councils.
- Held positions of Principal Planner for the Auckland Council and Senior Policy Advisor for the Legacy Manukau City Council for the last 10 years.
- Recently been involved in the development of both the Auckland Plan and the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan, with good insight of the provisions in both plans.
